There are five county parks that are all open to the public. All of the parks are closed to the public after dark. However, for those who want to do some night-time fishing on any of the three county lakes, you can purchase a night-time fishing license. You will need to go to the Recreation Department between 9:00AM-4:30PM, Mondays through Fridays. These licenses are good through December 31st.
A current VA fishing license is necessary and must be presented in order to purchase a night fishing license.
Fee:
$10.00 for county resident
$15.00 for non-county resident
