Amherst County Recycling Centers
The Amherst County recycling centers are facilities where Amherst County residents can bring their recyclables. See hours of operation for specific station information and visit Recycling Made Easy to learn what materials are recyclable and how to prepare them.
All locations are closed on the following holidays:
New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
All locations close at 2:00 pm the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and on Christmas Eve.
** As of May 30th, 2019, glass will no longer be accepted as a recyclable at the County's Convenience Centers, Recycling Centers, or the Landfill located on Kentmoor Farm Rd.**
