Hunter Ty-Carson Shaw was sentenced to 10 years in prison on October 22, 2019, after pleading guilty to distribution of methamphetamine as one of the principal leaders of a continuing criminal enterprise. He also pled guilty to 2 additional counts of distribution of methamphetamine, 1 count of having a firearm on his person while being in possession of a schedule I/II drug, 1 count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, 1 count of being in possession of a stolen firearm, and 1 count of distribution of marijuana. He was also fined $5,000 and all weapons and money seized from Shaw were forfeited to the Amherst County Sheriff’s Office.
