Our department is responsible for all computer related functions in all county offices. Our job responsibilities include installation and setup of computer hardware and software, both on the AS/400 mainframe, as well as, all personal computers.

 

We are the support desk for all software and internet related questions and provide technical assistance for any hardware related questions or problems.

 

We also handle any telecommunications directly involving our computer system and remote sites. In addition to this, we generate all payrolls and accounts payables for the county and schools; tax tickets, tax books and vehicle license applications.

 

Presently, on our AS/400 we have all Real Estate and Personal Property information, Business, State Incomes, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, Building Inspections and Treasurers records.

 

Other duties include, backup and restore procedures and all upgrades to the installed software modules.
